Exactly, they were playing a defense focused on stopping the pass so every time Powell Valley ran the ball they got good yardage. Every time Pinkston touched the ball, he did well.. Again, why the heck didn't they run more often if it was working well for them?
And why did they insist on throwing the ball when they were in/close to the redzone instead of being able to run easily against a defense focused on stopping the pass and which INTERCEPTED the passes?
This is what I'm trying to say. Powell Valley's offense/play-calling was just miserable that night.
